This policy explains what information the Trinity Training member app at https://app.trinitytraining.org collects, how we use it, who can see it, and the choices and rights you have. "We", "us" and "our" mean Trinity Training, the gym at 19460 144th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072, run by Coach Michael Brandenburg.
This policy covers the app only. The Trinity Training website, its contact form and the paper or online health questionnaire are covered by the privacy policy at https://trinitytraining.org/privacy-policy.
We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and the app has no advertising or analytics trackers.
Account information. Your email address. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your email address and basic profile details such as your name and profile picture link with our sign-in provider. We do not receive your Google password.
Profile. Your first and last name, an optional phone number, and your gender. Gender is used for the female and male filters on the workout boards and is shown next to your board entries.
Workout results. The scores, times, rounds, reps and weights you log, which version of a workout you did, any modifications you describe, your notes, and the date.
Body readings. Scale readings that you or someone with coach access enters: weight, body fat, hydration, lean mass, physical rating, basal metabolic rate, metabolic age, bone mass and visceral fat, with the date and who entered them.
Food preferences. Your eating pattern, food allergies, food intolerances, whether you prefer gluten-free food, and any notes you add. Coach Michael uses these for meal planning.
Coach notes. Coach Michael may keep a private planning note about you, which can include injuries, conditions or limitations. Members cannot see it. Only people with coach access can. You can ask to see it or have it deleted, as described in section 10.
Earlier Trinity history. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, gender, workout scores and modification notes from the previous Trinity app at trinitytraining.app, which we brought over so former members can restore their history.
Records the app keeps. Which version of these terms you accepted and when, sign-in records, and a log of changes made with coach access on your behalf.
Technical information. Our hosting and database providers record technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to run the app and keep it secure. This includes each time your calendar app fetches your calendar subscription link. It also includes an approximate location worked out from your IP address, such as your city and region, and device details checked by our bot-protection provider.
To create your account, sign you in by email link or Google, and keep your account secure.
To show you your workouts, results, history, body readings and food preferences.
To let Coach Michael coach you: review your results, enter and correct body readings, plan meals around your preferences and allergies, and keep planning notes.
To rank results on the workout boards as described below.
To restore your earlier Trinity history when you sign in with the email address recorded on your old account.
To send the emails the app needs, such as sign-in links. The app does not send marketing email.
To detect and stop fake accounts, fraud, harassment and other misuse, including by reviewing the IP address, approximate location and device details of sign-ups and requests.
To fix problems, prevent misuse, meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
You can see everything in your own account.
Trinity Training runs and maintains the app, its database and its hosting. Coach Michael Brandenburg and a support administrator authorized by Trinity Training have coach-level access and can see your profile, contact details, results, notes, modifications, body readings, food preferences, coach notes and earlier history. People Trinity Training authorizes to help maintain or support the app may access your information only to do that work. If we give coach-level access to anyone else, we will update this policy first.
Other signed-in members see your logged results on the workout boards as a rank, score, gender, the weights you recorded, the workout date, and whether you did the standard or modified version. They do not see your name, email, phone, notes, the text of your modifications, your body readings, your food preferences or your earlier history. Because Trinity is a small gym, another member may be able to guess which entry is yours. If you do not want a result on the boards, do not log it, or ask us to remove it.
You can add the gym calendar to your own calendar app in two ways. A one-time download is a copy of the schedule at that moment. A private subscription link lets your calendar app fetch the schedule again on its own, without signing in, and covers the schedule from 7 days back through 28 days ahead. Each member has one link, and resetting it in the app ends the old link. Both contain only the gym's schedule, workouts and the coach's workout notes, nothing about you. Our server logs record each fetch of a subscription link, including the IP address it came from.
Trinity Training operates the app and uses a small number of companies for the underlying services. They handle your information only to provide their service to us, under their own security and privacy commitments.
Vercel, Inc. hosts the app.
Supabase, Inc. provides the database that stores your information and the sign-in service.
Google LLC provides Google sign-in, if you choose to use it.
Cloudflare, Inc. provides the automated bot check on the sign-in page.
An email delivery provider sends sign-in links and account emails on our behalf.
Your information is stored and processed in the United States.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, such as in response to a valid court order, or when we believe in good faith that it is needed to protect someone's safety. If Trinity Training is sold or transferred to a new owner, your information may move with the business. In that case we will tell you, and this policy or a policy at least as protective will continue to apply.
We may also share account and technical information, such as IP address, approximate location and device details, with law enforcement when we reasonably believe an account or message is abusive, threatening or unlawful.
The app uses cookies only to keep you signed in. It does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and it does not track you across other websites.
Records from the previous Trinity app are kept in a private area of the database that members cannot see. When you sign in with the email address recorded on an old account, and that old account's first name is not shared by any other old account, its history is added to your account automatically. Where first names are shared, the app shows you the workouts recorded under that name and you confirm which are yours. Workouts that two members both claim stay unattached. Records that no one claims stay unattached.
If you were a member of the previous app and want your earlier records deleted instead of restored, email us and we will delete them, whether or not you have a new account.
We keep your information while your account is open so you can see your history over time. We do not delete accounts automatically. If you leave Trinity, ask us to close your account.
When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, results, body readings, food preferences, coach notes about you, terms acceptance records and earlier history links within 30 days of confirming the request. Copies in our providers' backups are removed as those backups expire, and in every case within six months. The same deletion applies if Coach Michael or Trinity Training removes an account. Your records from the previous Trinity app go back to being unattached, unless you also ask us to delete them.
We may keep a limited log of changes the coach made to your account and of earlier-history matching checks, and information we must keep to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute or enforce our terms, for as long as that need lasts.
We keep records of suspected misuse, including these technical details, for as long as we need them to investigate or report it.
The app is served only over encrypted connections. The database checks, for every request, who is signed in and what that person may see, so members cannot read each other's private information. Sign-in uses one-time email links or Google, and the app has no passwords to steal. Coach changes to member data are logged.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as Washington law requires.
You can view and edit your profile, results, body readings and food preferences in the app at any time.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, including Coach Michael's private notes about you, to correct it, to remove a result from the workout boards, or to delete your account and information, or to delete those notes.
To make a request, email us from the email address on your account so we can confirm it is you. If you write from another address, we may ask for more information to confirm your identity. We will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why, and we may take up to 45 more days. Requests are free.
If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal as described in section 11.
Washington's My Health My Data Act gives Washington consumers rights over their consumer health data. This section is our consumer health data privacy policy.
What we collect. Body readings, food allergies and intolerances, eating pattern and food notes, and workout results and weights to the extent they reveal your physical condition, plus anything about your health that you choose to write in workout notes or modifications, and Coach Michael's planning notes about your injuries, conditions or limitations.
Where it comes from. From you, from people with coach access when they enter body readings or planning notes for you, and from the previous Trinity app for earlier workout history.
Why we collect and use it. Only to provide the features you use: tracking your training and body readings, coaching, meal planning that respects your allergies and preferences, and the workout boards described in section 3. We will ask for your separate consent before we collect or use it for any other purpose, and before we share it with anyone other than the service providers in section 4 and the board display in section 3.
Who receives it. Trinity Training, which operates the app, including Coach Michael, the support administrator and people it authorizes to maintain or support the app only to do that work; the service providers listed in section 4; and other members only to the extent of the board display in section 3. We have no affiliates that receive it, and we never sell it.
Your rights. You may ask us to confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data; to see that data; to get a list of every third party and affiliate we have shared it with and how to contact them; to withdraw any consent you have given; and to delete it. Use the contact details in section 14.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal by emailing us with the subject line "Privacy appeal". We will respond in writing within 45 days and explain what we decided and why. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General's Office at atg.wa.gov.
The app is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through the app. If we learn that someone under 18 has created an account, we will delete it.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version in the app with a new version date, and the app will ask you to accept it the next time you sign in. We will not use information you have already given us in a materially different way without your consent.
